Jennifer McGinnis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the founder of PHEW Specialists.

Jennifer McGinnis holds a Master’s degree in School Counseling and brings over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout her career as a middle school counselor and later at the Pinellas County Schools District Office, she has supported students and families, developed mental health programs, and provided trainings and presentations across the county.

Recognizing a growing need for specialized support for children and teens, Jennifer founded Pinellas Health and Emotional Wellness Specialists in 2022. She is passionate about helping young people build confidence, resilience, and effective coping skills.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family—especially her two children—and finding a great taco.
